Carlisle Flooring is a 40 year old family business out of Stoddard, New Hampshire and claims to make the finest hardwood floors in America, each custom crafted by hand from sustainably harvested pines, hardwoods and FSC reclaimed antique woods. All of their floors are available in both 3/4″ solid and 5/8″ engineered wood, come in any width with exceptionally long planks. The FSC Reclaimed Antique Woods are offered in solid form only and come complete with a personalized portfolio which details the history of the original structure from which it was reclaimed. Carlisle floors are comprised exclusively of heartwood, the densest and most vertical grain of the tree and contains far less moisture than the outer “sap wood” giving it superior strength and long-term stability. Even the engineered version is surfaced from heartwood. The adhesives, stains and finishes are free of volatile organic compounds (VOC’s) and all the floors are sealed both top and bottom to inhibit moisture absorption. They are known for floors made from old-growth Eastern White Pine that won’t warp, cup or degrade over time under rough foot traffic. We have a sample of this and other woods on display. Carlisle is premier flooring for your premier home.

I replaced my sheet vinyl with cherry engineered hardwood and love it! I thought it would be a lot of work to keep up but it is easy, just a swifter wipe. I got a natural color with lots of variation in the wood so scratches and dents don’t show.

What I need to know is why I must care? I mean, not to express that what youve got to express isnt important, but I mean, its so generic. Everyones discussing this man. Give us something a lot more, some thing that we can get behind so we can really feel as passionately about it as you do.
