The material then is mixed with resin binders to make up the top, 93% quartz,7% binders.The tops are harder than granite, never need to be resealed are impervious to heat and are warrantied. I don’t know if you could say quartz contertops are eco-friendly because there is no waste. A better arguement might be that they ae green friendly because most brands have earned greenguard certification. Zodiaq also has come out with 4 new colors that besides quartz also are made up of 50% recycled glass. pretty cool
