The kitchen cabinets that we build for San Diego County lead us into all kinds of stuff. We tend to shy away from mantels for some reason but every now and then we do one. The photo does not show the entire fireplace just what the details are. This was done in cherry to match their mission furniture in the room. The finish was our hand rubbed oil and wax eco friendly finish. The design was given to us by the owner and we took care of manufacturing and finishing the parts. The installation company did the demo and install. All and all I think it looked real nice and fit right in with the room and it’s contents. free-kitchen
