In our effort to go green the use of antique lumber for all of our exterior parts seems to be the best use of reclaimed wood that I can think of. We will plane & sand it to a smooth or leave it alone and it will have a real rustic finish. I am not sure which way to go with our next piece. The general consensus around here is that it is time to build one where the material has been planed and hand rubbed with our environmentally friendly finish.
Let me know what you think.
What project should we build?
