This home was built in 1986 by a Julian Family, the kitchen cabinets were done by us. The house was sold around 1995. The new owners got in touch with us right away and we did some small projects for them. They have decided to change the look of their kitchen. We currently have oak cabinets with raised panel doors and tile counter tops. The new kitchen is going to be done in cherry with raised panel doors and our environmentally friendly finish. This hand rubbed oil and wax finish on cherry is about as nice as it gets. Drawer system will be standard drawers with Blum soft close hardware for drawers and doors. It makes you feel pretty good when customers become friends and keep calling you back. Myself and the guys in the shop will do a great job for them.

I recommend a marine varnish. Use it in a well-ventilated area as it’s not a water-based finish. You may want to put the chairs away or at least cover them in winter. If you can protect them from storms they’ll hold up better. Depending on the type of wood used they could have a good long life. Obviously, if they are on a porch or at least have a roof overhead they’ll last longer.
