Through the years the kitchen cabinets that have been done by us in Ramona have been about a 50-50 split as far as new house vs. remodel. This photo shows one that I was allowed to redesign. Without a lot of input from the owners. The fist thing I saw that I thought was wrong was the cabinets on the window made a turn making a “U” shaped kitchen that had only 1 entrance., this we quickly did away with and put in the island. The rest just fell into place. Quarter sawn red oak with a fruit wood stain. The granite that we picked was just perfect.

Gary – I still remember your great suggestion at my house in La Mesa where we closed up the second door coming into the somewhat small kitchen, which allowed us to wrap the cabinets around to the third wall. You definitely have a great eye for getting the most out of a kitchen space.
