Lets Be Ready

April 22nd, 2009

Well San Diego had its first brush fire of the year the other day and I still wonder when will people wake up.  The best possible chance you have to stay safe is by working hard to keep the brush down, the county has some dumb distance that they want you to keep clear, well you should triple it. My house survived the Angel fire 2007 in Julian because I kept it clear and all my trees were trimmed enough so that when the fire came through it burned at the bases of the trees but did not spread up the trees. I guess what I am trying to say is use some logic and get prepared because it will happen somewhere in the county this year. It has all the signs of being a bad year, I mean a Santa Ana in April bring temps to over 90 at the coast. Look out this year. This is a photo of what my place looked like after the fire notice the white ash those areas burned so hot that now 20 months later nothing has grown back yet.     free-kitchen

I got this old wooden rocking chair from a friend and I painted it black to match the nursery decor. It has always kind of “clicked” a little when I rock in it but now it’s squeaking and cracking so loud that it just annoys my daughter and I. Is there a way to fix it? I haven’t tried anything yet. I don’t want to ruin it.

I am going to get hold of a rocking chair to prettify my personal terrace. What style of rockers is undoubtedly most fitting for the purpose of patio space and moreover ideal when i do not at all want to set the chair on the inside through winter?

Monty,we do not mind questions as a matter of fact we encourage them. But we love honesty. Instead of asking the question you did you should have said what you wanted and invited those in this community to check out your sight. Your comment will remain but be a little more upfront.

Although running a business sounds cool and all that. But in fact, I think you have to form a schedule so that you don’t get too involved. I liked that stuff you talked about “life is balance”. Maybe hiring someone do your work is a smart idea.
