No kitchen cabinets or furniture for Ramona or San Diego today. Congratulations to Deanna Hernandez, Miss Julian 2009. Serving on the court as princess is Daniela Retz. As we have been doing for many, many years, Ideas In Wood donated a keepsake blanket chest to the winner. Since expanding to Ramona in 2003, we now give away a blanket chest to the winner of the Miss Ramona pageant. Our lovely ladies have told us how special these chests are to them and we replaced several that were destroyed by the Cedar Fire. The blanket chest is an item we try to keep stocked in our showroom and they sell quickly. The usual wood is solid oak or cherry with a cedar lining and raised panels all around. This chest is a new look look in rustic alder. Congratulations again Deanna; may this blanket chest be a life long reminder of your year representing the fine people of Julian.
